How we estimate prices

We start with a national installed-price range for each service. For each city, we adjust it two ways. Median household income and home values stand in for local labor and overhead costs. NOAA heating and cooling degree days tell us how big the equipment has to be. The result is a planning number. A contractor's quote can come in higher or lower.
